A New York Times (NYT) editorial on Monday called for the U.S. to adopt a flexible approach towards North Korean affairs in order to organize dialogue with the country and regional parties.
In the editorial, entitled “North Korea’s Brazen Nuclear Moves,” the U.S. newspaper of record noted the “little impact” of the sanctions, while warning of the potentially catastrophic results of backing Kim Jong Un into a corner. It cites a potential opportunity for an approach after the upcoming Party Congress.
