North Korea’s state media said the country recently started the construction of what would be the tallest residential building in all of the country.

The construction process is still in its basic state, but once built the edifice will also be eco-friendly and energy-saving, Korean Central Television (KCTV) reported on Thursday.

“If this 70-floor residential building is finished in Ryomyong Street, it will probably be the tallest apartment ever built in our republic,” said state-run media DPRK Today. 

“This apartment will be about 10 floors higher than the 53-floor building built at Mirae Scientists Street,” said the report, referring
