A North Korean diplomat in Nepal was taken to the hospital and later to a police station for drunk driving on Monday after crashing into and injuring a doctor who was driving to hospital, local media reported.

Ri Chong Ho, who works in the North Korean embassy in Kathmandu, was driving a diplomatic vehicle when he collided with a local doctor named Bijaya Pandey. The accident happened at around 10 a.m.

Pandey’s injuries were not serious, though there was also damage to his watch and motorbike, according to the Annapurna Post report.
