North Korea passes new regulations on SEZ health screening

Visitors, plants, cargo and even corpses entering an SEZ should be screened for diseases

North Korea has announced new screening regulations for visitors, objects and even corpses heading into one of the country’s designated Special Economic Zones (SEZs), the Pyongyang Times reported on Wednesday.

The new rules consist of 31 as-yet unreleased articles aimed at preventing the spread of communicable diseases into the DPRK.
