China’s Ministry of Commerce is implementing the recent United Nation sanctions covering resource trade with North Korea, it announced via an online statement on Tuesday.
The announcement comes just days after Chinese President Xi Jinping met with U.S. President Barack Obama at the Nuclear Security Summit in Washington, D.C., where both countries discussed recent sanctions against the DPRK.
