Adoption of resolution at human rights council continues push for accountability

A group of experts will be formed to study how to bring North Korea’s leaders to account for possible crimes against humanity following the adoption of a resolution at the UN Human Rights Council on Wednesday.

The resolution requests the High Commissioner for Human Rights appoint a maximum of two independent experts for a period of six months to work in support of the UN Special Rapporteur for human rights in North Korea, Marzuki Darusman.
