Recent satellite imagery and an article from Rodong Sinmun revealed that the October 3rd Factory, or Munchon Naval Base, has recently gone through a major expansion and reconstruction phase.

The naval facility is only few kilometers north of Wonsan, and is now complete with a 890 meter long dock and shore protection.

“Kim Jong Un gave field guidance to the October 3 Factory, which has gone through continuous work to construct a site that is as big as 51,750 square meters,” the Rodong Sinmun article published on Tuesday reads.
