More N.Korean maritime sanctions possibly coming from Seoul

Ships which have visited the DPRK in the last 180 days would be blocked from South Korean ports

South Korea’s Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries has suggested expanding the parts of the May 24 Measures that sanction shipping, and the new measures will be considered by Seoul’s National Security Council (NSC).

South Korea’s Yonhap News Agency reported that the sanctions would be implemented “immediately,” but a spokesperson from the ministry told NK News they would wait until after the UN passes a new resolution.
