North Korea might conduct long-range missile test within a week, the Kyodo News Agency reported on Wednesday.

“Japan’s analysis on the satellite images over a period of days indicate that North Korea might conduct a long-range missile test within a week,” said Kyodo’s governmental source.

Both the U.S. and South Korean defense ministries have refused to confirm or deny Japanese media’s claim.

“But we do believe that North Korea, should the state provoke us in future, might conduct it in abrupt manner … we are keeping eyes on any signs of North Korea’s long-range missile provocations,” said the Ministry of National
