News Two Koreas to have preliminary meeting next ThursdaySouth accepts North's offer of dialogue after more than two months of false starts
South Korea on Friday accepted a North Korean proposal to organize working-level talks at Panmunjeom next Thursday, according to the Ministry of Unification (MoU). The North Korean Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea (CPRK) sent a notice to South Korea early on Friday, suggesting preliminary talks. The notice was sent via Panmunjeom to the MoU. The specific venue for the talks will be , and the talks will cover assorted working-level issues, the MoU said.
