N. Korea denies involvement in S. Korean textbook opposition

S. Korean ruling party lawmaker also warns against overusing anti-North message

North Korean news outlet Uriminzokkiri on Monday denied involvement in a recent South Korean civil movement against government-issued textbooks.

Last Thursday, Won Yoo-chul of the ruling Saenuri Party said that North Korean intelligence agencies had allegedly "sent directives to South Korean citizens to stand against the publication of government-issued history textbook."
