Professor suggests sequence for expanding cooperation, including resumption of Kumgang tours

A South Korean economics expert on Friday said South Korea can consider improving inter-Korean cooperation through a sequence involving the expansion of the Kaesong Industrial Complex, as well as the resumption of the Mount Kumgang and the Kaesong tours.

He evaluated several programs suggested by South Korean government, think tanks and experts including health care support, support for multi-farming facilities, infrastructure-building projects, resumption of Mount Kumgang and Kaesong tours and an international city around the Tumen River.
