S.Korean labor unions visit Pyongyang for soccer competiton

Last application in April was not approved, labor union said more than 100 people will visit North via flight

The Korean Confederation of Trade Unions and Federation of Korean Trade Unions, two of South Korea's largest trade union centers, will visit Pyongyang to participate in a soccer competition with North Korean labor unions from October 28 to 31.

On Tuesday, North Korea's state-run Uriminzokkiri site unveiled a press release, announcing the "North-South Workers' Soccer Competition," and that the South Korean team will use the "flight via direct line through the Western Sea." That flight route was taken by former South Korean first lady Lee Hee-ho in August during her visit to the North.
