Two Koreas agree on reunions of divided families

Negotiators also agree on number of participants, will seek to confirm whether participants are living or dead

Inter-Korean negotiators have set a date of October 20-26 for the next round of reunions of divided families following long talks that started Monday morning and lasted more than 24 hours.

The two parties initially disagreed on the date. The South pushed to have the event before October 10, so that it would take place before the anniversary of the establishment of the Workers' Party of Korea, while the North insisted on having it after.
