New North Korean sci-tech complex nearly complete

New facility one of numerous science focused projects recently constructed in DPRK

The construction of a large scale new science and technology complex in Pyongyang is nearly complete, according to an article from the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) published yesterday.

Located on the Ssuk islet in Pyongyang’s Taedong River, the construction of the new facility has progressed rapidly, with satellite imagery from January showing only a bare outline of the structure.
