The U.S. and China have warned North Korea not to launch a rocket or conduct a nuclear test, while South Korea repeated that there have been no clear signals of a pending rocket launch.

White House spokesperson Josh Earnest on Tuesday confirmed the U.S. position that it will not recognize North Korea as a nuclear state.
