DPRK state media on Wednesday warned that an anticipated visit by former South Korean President Kim Dae-jung’s widow may be cancelled if South Korean “provocations” continue.

“Madame Lee’s visit to North will be cancelled if provocations from the South Korean conservative party and media do not stop,” the state-run Korean Central News Agency said.

South Korean media have recently reported that should Lee use an airplane to visit Pyongyang it may help advertise North Korea’s newly built Pyongyang Airport and bring positive publicity to Kim Jong Un’s regime.

“This is great provocation to our dignity,” the North Korean government said
