Artists from Germany and South Korean unification experts today gathered in Seoul to present preparations of the “DMZ Story” exhibition.

From this coming November 20 to February 20 next year, the exhibition at the War Memorial of Korea in Seoul’s Yongsan district will show paintings from the Berlin Wall and other new artifacts in a collaboration using high-end technical effects and visitors’ active participation.

“While the wall in Germany has collapsed, the wall in Korea has not. We believe that art can express peaceful coexistence. After the unification, art will lead culture,” said Kani Alavi, the president of East Side Gallery.
