Recent photographs obtained by NK News reveal no progress on the mile-long suspension bridge crossing the Yalu River between China and North Korea.
Originally slated to open in October last year, the $288 million bridge aims to connect the Chinese port city of Dandong with Sinuiju in North Korea.
“We gave North Korea the money and technology to build the bridge and even paved the road for them, but they took our money and didn’t do anything. They are too unreliable, too unreliable,” a local source told NK News on the condition of anonymity.[/p
