North Korean delegation will head South for sporting event

DPRK delegation to participate in Gwangju Universiade preparations, women's soccer, handball teams confirmed

A North Korean delegation will be heading to the South Korean city of Gwangju from April 11-15, to participate in preparations for the summer Universiade to be held there in July.

The Universiade event is a two-week international sporting and cultural festival taking place every two years in a different city. University students compete in 13 different sports with a possible three further sports chosen by the host nation.
