North Korea has brought in trains from its wartime reserve stock to address the lack of transportation caused by a shortage of electricity, Radio Free Asia reported.

“Diesel locomotives were put into railway routes for (the) Pyongyang-Musan (route) and Pyongyang-Tumen river since February this year,” a source in Pyongyang was quoted as saying.

According to the source, it took more than 10 days to get to Musan or Tumen river before the diesel trains went into operation but now it takes about two days.
