A team from the Eugenebell Foundation arrived in North Korea on April 21 for a three-week visit to help treat tuberculosis (TB) at 12 medical facilities in Pyongan province, Hwanghae province and Pyongyang.

The team is composed of 16 members, and includes foundation president In Se-ban.

“All of the team members are foreigners, so they didn’t notify the Ministry of Unification (MoU) of their entrance. They did inform (us) in January they would be taking medicines in,” an MoU spokesperson told NK News.
