Belarus bans North Korean animal products

Former Soviet republic blocks imports in response to foot-and-mouth disease concerns

Concerns over foot-and-mouth disease have prompted Belarusian authorities to ban imports of livestock, meat and dairy from North Korea, a local media report stated.

It was not immediately clear, however, how much livestock from North Korea enters Belarus or whether any is sent there at all.
