A team of investigators in South Korea has found additional evidence of a government-sponsored massacre from the Korean War. Now it’s searching for a way to make Seoul pay greater attention. The Joint Investigation Group, consisting of a number of civic groups, recently spent one week excavating the bodies of massacre victims from the war in the Daejeon Sannae Golryong area of South Chungcheong Province. On March 1 it appealed to the South Korean government for support, and is still waiting for a reply. Numerous bones were excavated at the site, located in Golryong.
