N. Korea opens new bus route to luxury ski-resort

Local media increases coverage on both the Masik-Ryong ski resort, Mount Kumgang tourism zone

North Korea has launched a new bus service to its luxury ski resort at Masik Ryong, according to a report from the DPRK media outlet Naenara published Monday.

The ski resort is one of North Korea’s mega projects built in the hope of attracting additional tourism to the DPRK. This is despite banning foreign visitors from entering the country due to fears over Ebola throughout the winter period.
