North Korean border may open on April 1: Tour company

Tour operator says information is reliable, but other tourist sources dispute date

There are strong indications that North Korea will reopen its borders to foreign visitors on April 1, a statement issued by Young Pioneer Tours (YPT) said on Tuesday.

The Beijing based tour company made the claim in a travel update on their website, citing multiple unnamed sources and speculation within the industry.
