North Korea hasn’t succeed in miniaturizing a nuclear warhead, which is necessary to producing working nuclear ballistic missiles, a South Korean defense ministry spokesperson said on February 26.

Answering a journalist’s question on the ministry’s view on recent reports on North Korea’s nuclear capability, Kim Min-seok, the spokesperson of the Ministry of National Defense, said that North Korea doesn’t seem to have achieved the necessary miniaturization technology, in a regular press conference on Thursday.

“(The reports) are just estimations from some civilian organizations and experts. There is no such evidence and we think (North Korea) didn’t yet acquire the (miniaturization)
