North Korea’s foreign minister has sent letters to the UN leadership proposing that the UN General Assembly’s human rights resolution be revoked, citing famed defector Shin Dong-hyuk’s “fabrication,” North Korean state media reported.

The Korean Central News Agency reported Wednesday that Foreign Minister Ri Su Yong sent the letters to the UN secretary-general and the president of the current session of the UN General Assembly on Monday.
