North Korea’s state-run Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) has published a scathing criticism of the European Union on Tuesday for its role in tabling a UN human rights resolution on the country.

The article, “KCNA Commentary Ridicules EU’s Bat-blind Behavior,” questions the EU’s motives, impartiality and independence in drafting the resolution.

“This is being ridiculed by the international community as a bat-blind act of impairing the image of (the) EU,” the commentary read.
