North denies involvement in hacking Sony

State media suggests supporters carried out 'righteous act' of hacking entertainment giant

North Korean state media on Sunday published a denial of any involvement in hacking Sony Pictures Entertainment, despite the company’s production of a movie that “abet(s) a terrorist act” against the North.

The report, issued by the Korean Central News Agency, accused “south Korean puppet authorities” of spreading “a wild rumor” of the North’s involvement in the hack attack against Sony, whose soon -to-be released film The Interview depicts two Americans being sent to the North to assassinate Kim Jong Un.
