A North Korean government delegation met with Senator Maurizio Gasparri in Italy group this week, a Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) said on Thursday.

Gasparri – who is Vice-President of the Italian Senate and member of the right wing Forza Italia group – met with members of the ruling Worker’s Party during a two day visit that kicked off in Italy on Sunday, the KCNA said.

Forza Italia is a political group set up by Silvio Berlusconi, the former Italian Prime Minister and media tycoon.
