N. Korea will seek improved S. Korea ties – premier

Pak Pong Ju's statement contains no specifics; North shows cyclical approach toward inter-Korean relations

North Korean premier Pak Pong Ju said Tuesday that the regime would make an effort at improving inter-Korean relations on Tuesday.

“We will do our best to improve North-South relations,” he said. However, the remarks, offered at the ceremony marking the 66th anniversary of the state’s foundation, contained no specifics and proposed no policy changes.
