North Korea tests short range ballistic missile over weekend

Most recent launch personally overseen by Kim Jong Un

North Korea fired a short range ballistic missile from the eastern province of Hwanghae on Saturday. According to South Korean military sources, the missile flew for 310 miles before landing in the sea.

The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported that the missile test was overseen by North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and marked the eve of 61st anniversary of the Korean war armistice on Sunday 27 July.
