Update: KCNA published content on May 24 and 25 which was backdated and thus has skewed the data on the index as it appears now. However the score of 2.5 on the threat index is the factually accurate figure listed for Friday May 23 and the data below is accurate.

NK News observed a sharp increase in aggressive and threatening language in articles published by North Korean state media outlet the Korea Central News Agency (KCNA) between May 20-23.
