South Korea has rejected North Korea’s offer to jointly investigate drones found in Southern territory.

North Korea’s National Defense Commission, after insisting that the controversy over three unmanned aerial vehicles had been “cooked up” by the South, on Monday suggested that the two should investigate together.

The presidential office in South Korea replied a day later, rejecting the offer.

“North Korea is a suspect in the case,” the Blue House said. “They aren’t qualified (to investigate).”
