President Park says North Korea ‘fully ready’ to conduct nuclear test

Presidents Obama and Park discuss 'very tense situation' at joint press conference

South Korean President Park Guen-hye has announced that her government believes that North Korea are ‘fully ready now’ to conduct a fourth nuclear test at a joint press conference with President Obama in Seoul on Friday.

The two leaders showed a united front and addressed concerns about the potential for North Korea carrying out a nuclear test, with Park adding that the situation on the peninsula was ‘very tense’.
