NGO to provide TB treatment training

Tuberculosis considered rampant health problem in North Korea

An American non-governmental organization is planning to provide an educational workshop with North Korean medical professionals at the Pyongyang TB (tuberculosis) Training Center, scheduled to open about mid-May.

According to the Christian Friends of Korea (CFK), the center is slated to open in May, and it expects to hold a two-day workshop for primary care physicians.
