Detained missionary again claims NIS help

South Korean intelligence agency denies working with Kim to set up underground churches

North Korea-affiliated media outlet Uriminzokkiri has broadcast an interview with South Korean missionary Kim Jeong-wook, who again claimed that he received assistance from South Korea’s Intelligence Service (NIS) on his trip.

Kim, who has been detained in North Korea since October, said in the 21-minute video that the NIS helped him with the intent to set up a network of underground churches.
