An international postal service connecting the Chinese city of Hunchun to Rason, North Korea will kick off next week, Voice of America (VOA) reported on March 1.

VOA, quoting Chinese media, reported that Hunchun’s post office headquarters and Rason’s postal service administration have agreed to launch a mail transport service between the two cities, and the service is scheduled to kick off next week.

The two cities will run the service as a test operation for two years. Documents and parcels meeting the international standard will be allowed to be delivered to Rason, and the service will be run twice
