Park expected to talk unification in Germany

Korean presidents have customarily used visits to Germany to discuss unification plans

South Korean President Park Geun-hye is expected to use her upcoming trip to Germany to emphasize the reunification of Korea.

Park is to be in the Netherlands and then Germany from Tuesday to Friday. Capping the trip will be Park’s visit on Friday to the Dresden University of Technology, the best-known university in the former East Germany, where she is to receive an honorary doctorate.
