N. Korea-Japan Red Cross meetings finish today

Japan expected to request updated information on its abductees

The Red Cross meeting between North Korea and Japan will conclude in Shenyang, northeastern China today.

Delegates from both countries, including Keiichi Ono, director of the Northeast Asia Division of the Foreign Ministry, and Ryu Song Il, chief of the Japanese affairs section at the North Korean Foreign Ministry,  arrived in Shenyang for two-day Red Cross meeting that started Wednesday, the Kyodo News Agency reported yesterday.
