North and South Korea will hold high-levels talks on Wednesday to discuss forthcoming family reunions and the upcoming joint U.S.-South Korea military exercises, as well as general inter-Korean issues, South Korean officials announced on Tuesday.

According to Unification Ministry spokesman Kim Eui-do, the talks were arranged after North Korea proposed them on Saturday, and will take place at Panmunjom at 10 am on Wednesday.

The spokesman said that the two sides will discuss how family reunions can go ahead as planned, and ways in which talks can become a regular occurrence, but stressed that no agenda has been set in stone for the
