Abductee’s parents see potential resolution after UN report

Nearly three decades after daughter's abduction, Megumi Yokota's parents still fight for her

North Korea’s 1977-1983 abductions of Japanese civilians have come up again thanks to the United Nations Commission of Inquiry report, and the parents of the most famous abductee see an opportunity for resolution.

However, they told NK News that this will require international pressure, or else Kim Jong Un will not respond – even if he would like to.
