Letter from N. Korean Red Cross stresses reunions

State media continues to blame South for past cancellations

North Korea’s recent “peace offensive” continued on Monday, as state media announced that its Red Cross Committee had sent a letter to the South Korean Red Cross in advance of the upcoming family reunions.

An editorial in the Rodong Sinmun discussed the contents of the letter, which stresses the importance, for both sides of the peninsula, of the upcoming reunions of families separated by the Korean War for both countries.
