North Korea has become a regular member of International Paralympic Committee (IPC), pro-North Korean newspaper the Choson Sinbo reported on December 6.

According to the paper, the decision to accept North Korea as a regular member of IPC was made in a recent IPC General assembly held from November 22 to 24 in Greece.

“North Korea will keep step with an international effort in improving the condition of disability sports as well as push for the domestic development of it as a regular member of IPC,” Ri Bun Hui, secretary general at Chosun Sport Association for the Disabled (조선장애자체육협회
