In the wake of news of Jang Song Thaek's execution, the political elite of North Korea on Tuesday reaffirmed their absolute loyalty to Kim Jong Un during a ceremony commemorating the second anniversary of Kim Jong Il’s death.
At the day's main event, which took place at the Pyongyang Indoor Gymnasium, Kim Jong Un was seated center stage underneath a large picture of Kim Jong Il and flanked by both the Vice Marshall of North Korea's army, Choe Ryong Hae, and the ceremonial head of state, Kim Yong Nam.
