North Korean leader Kim Jong Un on Tuesday toured Pyongyang’s May Day Stadium – the highest capacity venue in the world – and instructed that it be refurbished, state media reported on Wednesday.
The report follows news that Kim Jong Un has recently ordered the development and refurbishment of a series of other leisure and sporting projects in recent weeks, despite the United Nations this August appealing for US$98 million from the international community to help North Koreans in need.
