Women from both North and South Korea were to meet in Shenyang, China, Thursday to lay the groundwork for a North-South joint forum designed to solve the Comfort Women issue.
The forum was originally planned in Kaesong, North Korea, in 2010 by both North and South Korean women, but it did not take place because the forum did not receive the green light from the administration of then-South President Lee Myung-bak.
