Experts divided on usefulness of dialogue at Seoul conference

Ironically it helps the North Korean regime to not negotiate.

SEOUL — Experts acknowledged the need for sanctions against North Korea but disagreed on the efficacy and future of dialogue at a conference held in Seoul Tuesday.

Victor Cha and Michael Green of the Center for Strategic International Studies (CSIS) were talking about the future of North Korea with South Korean experts that included former National Presidential Security Advisor Chun Young-woo and Kyungnam University Professor Kim Keun-sik.
