North Korea’s Hwasong-14: Where did it come from, and what will they test next?
Pyongyang will likely soon start testing new ICBMs, with even greater ranges

Kim Jong Un sent a resounding 4th of July greeting to the United States: the launch of its first inter-continental ballistic missile (ICBM), the Hwasong (Mars)-14.
The missile was flown to a very lofted trajectory (to prevent it from flying over Japan, among several technical reasons), reached a peak altitude of 2802 km, and landed some 933 km off the launch site. It in the air for 39 minutes.
The demonstration of North Korea’s HS-14 missile was more than enough to qualify the missile as a true ICBM.
A WORK IN PROGRESS
